Writer, singer, voice/airway specialized speech pathologist, and tech enthusiast, Barbara is a lava lamp of practicality, curiosity, and oddball humor. She loves knowing a little bit about a lot of things and she is always up for learning something new (except for sky diving...never sky diving). Barbara reads everything from sci fi to the New York Times, from manga to early American history. She can be seen buying cryptocurrency while decked out in steampunk cosplay. If aliens visit planet earth a thousand years from now (as if they haven't already) Teja would be the last possible example of a fossilized human. Why? Because Teja is the epitome of nondefinability (not even a real word, see?) Mixed-race, mixed-culture, multi-platform artist, actor, producer, director and educator, this unboxed diversity specialist who grew up in Japan, is infatuated with change. Teja loves creating and consuming all forms of media and geeking out on NLE and SFX software. Teja would rather be skydiving or driving a manual shift, than be sitting on a rocking chair.
